A CLI command available on some Cisco platforms; used to create a new Call-Home profile and copy the configuration of an existing profile to the new one.

The Call-Home feature provides the system with the ability to send email and web-based notification of critical system events.

Software-update-available-v2-22.png Availability

The Call-Home feature is currently only available on 4500, 4900, 6500 and Nexus series switches and 7200, 7600 and MDS 9000 router platforms.

Icemon-medium.png Related Commands

The call-home command is used to enter Call-Home configuration mode from global configuration mode.

The profile command is used to create and delete Call-Home profiles.

The destination command is used to configure profile settings.
