Usage Syntax
Configuration Context: Call-Home Configuration Mode
[no] contact-email-addr email_address
Usage Examples
contact-email-addr steve@networkstuff.eu - specify a Call-Home feature contact email address of steve@networkstuff.eu
no contact-email-addr steve@networkstuff.eu - delete the Call-Home feature contact email address
Usage Notes
This command supports a maximum email address of 200 characters.
Only one email address can be specified.
The Call-Home feature provides the system with the ability to send email and web-based notification of critical system events.
Availability
The Call-Home feature is currently only available on 4500, 4900, 6500 and Nexus series switches and 7200, 7600 and MDS 9000 router platforms.
Related Commands
The call-home command is used to enter Call-Home configuration mode from global configuration mode.
The copy profile command is used to create new Call-Home profiles and copy the configuration of an existing profile to the new one.
The destination command is used to configure profile settings.
